Redshirt - The character is cursed with misfortune, and is prone to suffering grievous injuries. GMs should feel at liverty to punish the character with whatever non-permanent injuries they can think up.

Persuade [Master] – The character is charming and diplomatic, and can often influence people through reasoning and sweet talking.


:bulletblue: Talents
General
Subdue – With sheer strength, the warrior attempts to tackle,wrestle down, and control an opponent. All without causing too much harm. Can be used for prisoner taking, for instance. 

Take a Punch 
– Used strictly in hand-to-hand combat! Used to more severe and hurtful injuries, the warrior pummels the target, shrugging off all but the heaviest punches and kicks that land on her, while making 3 unarmed attacks herself. 


Shield & Sword
Shield Bash – The character bashes a target with the front of the shield for little damage, trying to disorient the target. The may at will follow up with a normal attack. Weaker targets may be knocked over or back by the shield bash.

Rim Slash – The character aims a hard strike at the target's throat or head with the edge of the shield. Targets hit hard are stunned by the attack. A blade-edged shield can do more damage, but doesn't stun.

Assault – The character attempts to block the enemy's weapon with her shield, and move in for 2 normal attacks, with a good chance of blocking retaliation.

Juggernaut – The character charges forward, tackling enemies with the shield, knocking any human sized or smaller targets down or back, possibly stunning or disorienting knocked over targets.


Unarmed
Hard Punches – The character unleashes a pair hard-hitting hook punches. Knuckle dusters make the punches more effective, but still ineffective against rigid armor. Targets hit hard in the head may be staggered or disoriented. Claw knuckles or punch daggers etc. may also be used with this talent.

Throw – The character maneuvers up close for a grip of the target's neck, collar, or arm, then drops down, pulling the target over herself and slamming them into the ground. Successfully thrown characters are knocked down, and possibly stunned. Vastly larger opponents cannot be thrown.


:bulletorange:Soldier | Specialization
Drilled Defense - The Soldier keeps her guard up, gaining a good chance of parrying or blocking incoming attacks. Every successfully deflected attack is returned with a quick and punishing swing of the soldier's weapon. The defense is so thoroughly drilled in that it remains effective even during distracting conditions.

Drilled Attack – The soldier makes two normal attacks at a target, then resumes a defensive posture. The motions are so well drilled in, that the soldier doesn't even expend stamina for making the attack. The attack remains effective even during distracting conditions.

Packmule – Soldiers are used to carrying the heaviest packs of gear imaginable over the longest and most inhumane march distances. A soldier suffers little wearyness from the picnic paced travel of TMM groups. The soldier can also comfortably try looting larger and heavier items.

Backup Blade – 
If ever disarmed in combat, or ambushed without a weapon in hand, the soldier can draw a backup fighting dagger so swift that it may surprise the attacker and turn the tables. Combined with a normal or a tier 1 attack to be made with the dagger.



:bulletorange:Guardian |Specialization
Threat Assessment – The guardian is trained to spot signs of ill intent and probable assailant hiding spots. Using this talent, the guardian surveys the surroundings, having a higher than average capacity for spotting ambushes, concealed rogues, and fidgety NPCs who seem likely to soon pull their weapons.

Bodyguard 
- The Guardian physically puts himself between the attacker and a nearby ally, automatically intercepting melee attacks from weaker adversaries, and possibly intercepting ranged and magical attacks. The guardian also braces for the hits, ignoring the pain from fresh injuries for a short duration, as well as becoming resilient against physical and magical stun or knockdown attempts. The Bodyguard ability works against up to 8 incoming attacks.
